Experience
Originally, Melissa  joined John Lum Architecture in 2014 upon completing her Master’s degree from the University of Michigan. After a short departure to explore educational architecture, both at the university scale and K-12, Melissa rejoined JLA in 2021 with excitement to return to residential architecture. She enjoys the personal aspect of creating functional homes based on each client’s unique identity and needs. Melissa enjoys running, cycling and cooking, and spends much of her free time with her husband, daughter, and Vizsla, Blu.
