We’ve Expanded our Leadership Team

Change is in the air at JLA. On the heels of an incredible year, we’re expanding our leadership team. Khoan Duong, AIA and Bret Walters AIA, NCARB have been promoted to principals.

Those of you fortunate to work with Bret and Khoan know what an asset they’ve been to our practice. In their new role, the duo will continue the firm’s growth, expanding services into new market sectors while improving operational efficiency and project management standards, and mentoring staff.

As a result of their creative spirit and commitment to design with intention, we have commissions for a several new residential projects, a mortuary, private school, and have committed to pro bono work for Bolinas Community Land Trust for affordable housing, the Bolinas Museum, and the UC Berkeley School of Optometry Essilor Eyewear Center remodel.

Be on the lookout for more exciting news throughout the year. In the meantime, meet our new principals.
